Twenty outlets, one menu
Students browse menus from every campus outlet, build an order and choose where to meet: one of 43 named drop-off points, from halls to faculties. Or pick it up themselves and skip the queue.

Our product · UWI Mona
Students order from campus outlets; another student, already on campus, collects it and walks it to a named drop-off point while the buyer follows it live. Fees are set by real walking distance, so they stay low and fair.
At a glance
Runner was designed around one campus: its halls, faculties and outlets, and the students who move between them.
Food between classes or late in hall, without the walk and the queue.
Verified students who earn between classes, paid weekly.
Sales they were missing, with orders on a tablet and paid from a float.

Every fee comes from the real walking distance between the store and the drop-off point, worked out for every pair on campus. Next door costs less than the far side of campus, and prices are always checked on the server.

Fig. 2 Fair fees
Students follow every step, from accepted to collected to on the way, and chat with their runner in the app.

Fig. 3 Live tracking
One coin is one Jamaican dollar. Students top up with cash at a Runner table or by bank or Lynk transfer and receive a one-use top-up link on WhatsApp. Printed cards are sold by named sellers, card payments are on the way, and launch codes and referrals earn free deliveries.

Fig. 4 Runner coins
Verified students go online when they are free. Orders are offered in fair waves, three runners at a time, then to everyone. A runner cannot start until the order is paid, and earnings are paid weekly.

Fig. 5 Runner app
Each campus outlet has a tablet with its own login and alerts. Staff confirm orders, mark them ready and hand them to the runner, who pays from a store float topped up weekly.

Fig. 6 Store tablet
Admins manage stores, menus, runners, floats and top-up cards. A live control room checks orders, payments, runners, stores and the servers every minute, and says what needs doing.

Safeguards run on the server so nothing depends on the honesty of an app. Orders nobody takes in 30 minutes cancel themselves, unpaid orders cancel after 10, and held coins and floats return automatically.

Tested end to end with 52 delivered test orders before launch.
